Excursion to the Neuschwanstein Castle in the Bavarian Alps, built by King Ludwig II of Bavaria in 1869, better known by his nickname “Mad King”. The construction was inspired by the medieval castles of the «Teutonic Knights» and its halls allude to myths, fables and legends. When you leave, you will drive through the Alpsee lake and the return to Munich will be through the Linderhof Palace, the smallest of the three palaces built by Louis II of Bavaria, who intended to emulate the Castle of Versailles.
