How do the products differ from one another?

We offer three different lines of products. They vary between different hotel categories and different included services.  Regardless of the chosen category, all our tours include centrally located hotels, breakfast, accompanying guide, porterage service at hotels, brand new buses, most of them with WIFI access and toilet on board and panoramic city tours in each city.

The categories are:

  • Sato Exclusive: Accommodation in 4*superior and 5* hotels
  • Budget:  Accommodation in 4* hotels, including tours and meals
  • Primera: Accommodation in 4* hotels

Before you travel

Which documents do you need?

You need a passport that is valid for at least six months after departure date. Regardless of your nationality, you might need a visa for certain countries.

Important note: Please bear in mind that a visa application can take up to a couple of weeks

How much luggage are you allowed to take with you?

1 piece of luggage (dimensions 73x50x25 cm, max. 23 kg ) + 1 piece of hand luggage   (max. 8 kg x 55x40x25). If you want to take more with you please let us know or contact travel agent

Where will the driver meet us?

Our driver will meet you with a sign with your name on in it or a sign with the Sato tours logo upon your arrival at the airport or railway station.

Is there a minimum number of passengers required?

No, we guarantee all departures regardless of the number of passengers.

Is there a maximum number of passengers allowed?

Yes, the maximum number of passengers is 47.

From where are you picking us up upon arrival and departure of my tour?

If your tour includes transfers, we will pick you up from the following places:

  • another hotel
  • railway station
  • airport
  • harbour

The transfers are provided only within the same city where your tour starts and ends.

Are the transfers included in case you would like to add more nights at the beginning or at the end of your tour?

Yes, in case the transfers are included in your tour. If not, the transfer can be provided at an extra charge.

What is not included?

Most of our tours do not include any meals; we recommend you calculate a budget for:

  • lunch
  • dinner
  • souvenirs
  • optional tours and excursions

How much money should we take along?

This depends on the length of your tour and your personal spending (e.g. shopping etc). We recommend bringing a certain amount of USD in cash, which you can change into local currency in each city.

Is a travel insurance obligatory?

No, our tours do not include a travel insurance, we always recommend to obtain one in your country of residence.

Do I need to vaccinate for a travel to Europe?

No, in Europe, no vaccinations  are obligatory.

Is there wifi available on my tour?

All our hotels and most of our buses* provide wifi.

*The quality of the connection on our buses may vary, depending on the locations, border crossings and connections between countries.

When will I get the confirmation of the final hotels?

We will specify the final hotels approximately 1 month prior to tour departure.

Are there any discounts for children?

Yes, we offer following discounted prices/discounts:

  • Central Europe: Euro 350,-net per child (0-2 yrs) sharing a room with parents (max. occupancy 2 adults + 1 child)
  • Scandinavia & Russia: Euro450,-net per child (0-2 yrs) sharing a room with parents( max. occupancy 2 adults + 1 child)

25% discount for a child 2-11,99 yrs sharing a room with parents (max. occupancy 2 adults + 1 child). The full price applies for children over 12 yrs.

Is it possible to participate take part in a tour with a wheelchair?

Yes, but the wheelchair has to be foldable and you must be able to get on/off the coach on your own or with the help of your travel companion. In many European cities the pavements, especially in the old towns are often uneven and cobbled. Please make sure that your travel companion is strong enough to push the wheelchair.

I have no one to travel with, can I travel alone?

Yes, absolutely. We have many clients travelling alone, looking for new adventure and experiences, maybe finding new friends.

Is it possible to join the tour a couple of days earlier or later?

Yes of course. Please inform your travel agent and we will find the best arrangements for you.

Please advise as soon as you know you might be needing additional nights, so that we can proceed with the additional reservation.

During the tour

At what time can we check-in, if we arrive earlier then the group?

It depends on the accommodation, the usual check-in time is around 2:00 and 3:00 pm. You can store your luggage at the hotel until check-in.

Will I have time for myself?

Yes, of course! Many of our tours have leisure days included so that you have time to explore on your own.

Can I opt for additional tours and excursions, which are not included on my tour?

Yes, on all our tours, we offer optional activities and excursions.

If none of the offered activities are to your liking and you prefer to spend time one your own, of course that’s possible as well. Please bear in mind that it’s not possible to change our scheduled tours, excursions, activities and transfers.

In case you would like to book a tour or activity not listed by us, please contact us and we will gladly assist you with it.
