The capital of Sweden is located on 14 islands linked together by beautiful bridges and is known worldwide as the “Queen of the Waters”. We will visit the most famous buildings and places, including a stop in Fjällgatan, from where you can see a wonderful view over the Stockholm Islands. Next, we will visit the Vasa Museum, which exhibits the largest warship of its time, built by King Gustav Adolf II in 1628. The Vasa ship capsized and sank in Stockholm 1628. After 333 years on the sea bed the mighty warship was salvaged and the voyage could continue. Today Vasa is the world’s best preserved 17th century ship and the most visited museum in Scandinavia.
