For over 800 years Krakow had one of the most vibrant Jewish communities in Poland. This tour is focused on the jewish heritage of the city and the Kazimierz district. You will visit many of the city’s synagogues, such as the old synagogue (which dates from the 14th century being the oldest in Poland), Museum of Jewish History and Culture, the Remuh Synagogue, the Old Jewish Cemetery. Some parts of this neighborhood will be familiar to those who have seen the movie Schindler’s List, since it was shot in this neighborhood. The visit includes the Oscar Schindler’s Factory Museum. Notice: on Fridays pm, on Saturdays, during Jewish holidays and Polish national holidays synagogues and cemetery are closed.
