DAY 1 - BUDAPEST

Arrival at Budapest and transfer to your hotel. Accommodation.

DAY 2 - BUDAPEST

Breakfast and city tour of Budapest. First, we take the Margaret Bridge and drive over to Buda. We stop in the Castle District and during a short walk we show you the main attractions of the area. We walk to Matthias Church and to the Fishermen’s Bastion. Next, we drive to the Gellért Hill (Citadel) and show you the most spectacular view of Budapest. We then take the Andrássy Avenue to downtown Pest, pass by the Opera House and the St Stephen’s Basilica. Afternoon at leisure. Overnight stay.

DAY 3 - BUDAPEST - CLUJ NAPOCA

Breakfast and drive to Cluj Napoca. In the afternoon city tour and visit to the Art Museum, housed in the 18th century Banffy Palace, to view collections of weaponry and Romanian paintings dating from the Middle Ages Sightseeing: Old Town‘s architecture, the Ethnographic Museum of Transylvania, St Michael Cathedral and the Botanical Gardens. Overnight in Cluj Napoca.

DAY 4 - CLUJ NAPOCA - SIBIU

Breakfast and drive to the nearby traditional village of Alba Lulia. One of the oldest settlements in Romania, Alba Iulia served as the largest military and economic center during the Roman occupation. Visit of Alba Carolina – the largest citadel in Romania. Continue to Sibiu and city tour. Visit of Sibiu‘s Bruckenthal Palace and it’s rich art collections. Other attractions in Sibiu include Little Square (Craftsmen‘s Square), Bridge of Lies, Goldsmith‘s Square, the Orthodox Cathedral, several centuries- old churches and the City Hall Tower. Overnight stay.

DAY 5 - SIBIU - BRASOV

Breakfast and drive to Brasov passing by Biertan and Sighisoara. At Biertan village you can visit the fortified church, the seat of the Lutheran Evangelical Bishop in Transylvania between 1572 and 1867.We continue on to Sighisoara one of Europe‘s best-preserved medieval towns .City Tour including the Clock Tower, the Guild Tower; Venetian House, Antler House, Scholar‘s Wooden Staircase, Church on the Hill, and Hermann Oberth Square. Then we drive on to Brasov. Sightseeing in Brasov. Highlights include: the Council Square, the beautiful Saint Nicholas Church, Brasov Fortress, Franciscan Monastery. Overnight in Brasov.

Breakfast and drive to Bran. Visit of Bran (Dracula‘s) Castle. We continue to Sinaia, where Peles Castle, former summer residence of the royal family, awaits you. Then we drive on to Bucharest and overnight.

Breakfast and city tour of Bucharest including the Palace of Parliament, Revolution Square and the Village Museum, one of the largest and most charming open-air museums in Europe.
