DAY 1 - SUNDAY / FRANKFURT

Arrival in Frankfurt and transfer to the hotel. At 19.30 hrs briefing at the hotel reception with our guide.
DAY 2 - MONDAY / FRANKFURT - ROTHENBURG - HEIDELBERG

Breakfast and city tour of Frankfurt where we will show you the historic center with Römer, the Town Hall, the Cathedral and the Paulskirche (Paulskirche). We will see the Goethe House, the birthplace of a great German poet and the facilities of the Frankfurt Fair, where international exhibitions take place. The Alte Oper (Old Opera House) and the financial district, with its skyscrapers including the tallest in Europe. The European Central Bank, the Hauptwache, and the main shopping street “Zeil”. The great towers of the old city walls and the museums on the banks of the Rhine. Then departure to Rothenburg ob der Tauber. Upon arrival you are greeted by a vision of the Middle Ages that seems frozen in time. Its perfectly preserved city walls and cobblestone streets transport you back to a time of knights and maidens. The market square, with its picturesque town hall and half-timbered houses, is the nerve center of this medieval town. In the afternoon, departure to Heidelberg. Overnight stay.

DAY 3 - TUESDAY / HEIDELBERG

Breakfast and city tour of Heidelberg, the oldest city in Germany. We start the visit in the old town of Heidelberg, where we find several historic buildings, such as the old town hall and the Heiliggeistkirche, both from the 15th century. What impresses us most are the half-timbered houses that characterize the area. The highlight of this visit is Heidelberg Castle. The castle stands high above the city and offers a breathtaking view of the Neckar valley. A special experience is the large barrel cellar, where the largest wine barrel in the world is located. After visiting the castle, we will take a walk across the Old Bridge. The 18th century stone bridge is another landmark of Heidelberg and ends our visit. Free afternoon and overnight.
DAY 4 - WEDNESDAY / HEIDELBERG - STRASBOURG - FRIBOURG

The tour takes you through the charming valleys of the Neckar and Rhine rivers, where the vineyard-covered hills are reflected in the calm waters. As you approach the French border, the landscape gradually transforms into rolling hills and lush forests. Soon, you find yourself crossing the Rhine and entering the magical city of Strasbourg, with its iconic Gothic cathedral and charming cobblestone streets. Strasbourg, with its rich history and vibrant culture, welcomes you with open arms. From its picturesque neighborhood of La Petite France to its bustling Christmas market on Cathedral Square, every corner of the city is imbued with charm and character. Short sightseeing tour and continuation of the trip to Freiburg.

DAY 5 - THURSDAY / FRIBOURG - BLACK FOREST - LINDAU - MUNICH

The journey from Freiburg to Lindau is an adventure that takes you from the rolling hills of the Black Forest to the shores of the majestic Lake Constance, passing through picturesque villages and breathtaking scenery. The world’s first and largest cuckoo clock is located in Schonach Untertal and was built by clockmaker Josef Dold and his family over the course of two years. Its mechanism is 3.60 meters long, 3.10 meters high and 1 meter deep. Made entirely of wood, it is testimony to the great craftsmanship and precise calculations that went into its construction. Fifty times larger than a normal cuckoo clock, it invites visitors to take a look inside. Continuation of the trip to Lindau, a charming island town on the southern shore of Lake Constance. With its picturesque harbor, cobblestone streets and impressive historic architecture. Short stop and departure through the lush Allgäu region, known for its green meadows, dense forests and traditional country houses adorned with flowers to Munich. Arrival and overnight.

DAY 6 - FRIDAY / MUNICH

Breakfast and panoramic tour of the Bavarian capital on the banks of the Isar River in the northern foothills of the Alps. Starting at the medieval city gate “Karlstor”, your guide accompanies you to St. Michael’s Church, where the remains of “the Mad King” are located. After crossing Marienplatz to see the Town Hall with its famous carillon, you will visit the Frauenkirche church, which according to legend retains the mark of the Devil at its entrance. The visit continues to the Opera Square, the Feldherrnhalle or Monument to the Bavarian Generals, the Bürgersaalkirche church, the Royal Residence, St. Peter’s Church and before returning to your hotel, you can take a walk through the largest park in the city, the English Garden. DAY 7 - SATURDAY / MUNICH - NEUSCHWANSTEIN - MUNICH

Breakfast and then visit of Neuschwanstein Castle, built by King Ludwig II of Bavaria, better known by his nickname “the Mad King”. The construction was inspired by the medieval castles of the “Teutonic Knights” and its halls allude to myths, fables and legends. Then visit of the Linderhof Palace, the smallest of the three palaces built by Ludwig II of Bavaria, which was intended to emulate the Castle of Versailles. In the afternoon continuation of the trip to Oberammergau, famous for its Passion play dating from 1633 which is performed every 10 years. We also visit the Benedictine Abbey of Ettal, founded by the House of Wittelsbacher. Overnight in Munich.
