DAY 1 - THURSDAY / MUNICH

DAY 2 - FRIDAY / MUNICH

Breakfastand panoramic tour of the capital of Bavaria on the banks of the Isar River in the northern foothills of the Alps. Highlights include the Cathedral of Our Lady, an austere late Gothic building, the Church of the Holy Spirit, the Churches of St. Michael and St. Nepomuk. Free afternoon and overnight in Munich.

DAY 3 - SATURDAY /MUNICH - NEUSCHWANSTEIN - MUNICH

Breakfast and then visit of the Neuschwanstein Castle, built by King Ludwig II of Bavaria, better known by his nickname “the Mad King”. The construction was inspired by the medieval castles of the “Teutonic Knights” and its halls allude to myths, fables and legends. Then visit of the Linderhof Palace, the smallest of the three palaces built by Ludwig II of Bavaria, which was intended to emulate the Castle of Versailles. In the afternoon continuation of the trip to Oberammergau, famous for its Passion play dating from 1633 which is performed every 10 years. DAY 4 - SUNDAY / MUNICH - DANUBE VALLEY - VIENNA

Breakfast and departure to Vienna, passing through the Danube Valley. We will show you the beauty of the Danube Valley through a romantic scenery full of stories and legends. We will take a short walk through Dürnstein, a medieval village famous because King Richard was imprisoned in its castle (now in ruins). Continuation to Vienna: In the evening, you will meet your fellow travelers at a typical Austrian welcome dinner at the Marchfelderhof restaurant, well known far beyond the country’s borders. In this truly unique atmosphere, you will quickly get the feeling that Empress Sissi is sitting next to you at the table. Of course, drinks are also included.

DAY 5 - MONDAY / VIENNA

Vienna

After breakfast at the hotel, we will take a panoramic city tour, which gives a very good impression of Vienna’s many sights. We will visit the gardens of the historic Belvedere Palace, the former summer palace of Prince Eugene of Savoy. Enjoy the magnificent view of the city, immortalized by the artist Giovanni Antonio Canal in his Vie-na paintings. Continue along the Ringstrasse with its magnificent buildings such as the State Opera House, the Museum of Art History and Natural History, the Maria Theresa Monument, the Austrian Parliament, the Vienna City Hall, the National Theater and the Hofburg, seat of our Federal President. We will stroll through the small, idyllic streets of Vienna’s historic center and visit the interior of St. Stephen’s Cathedral, the largest in the city. We will also pass by the Anchor Clock and the Jewish quarter. The tour ends in the center at Maria-Theresien-Platz. After the panoramic tour, you have the option to join a visit to Schoenbrunn Palace (not included). Fancy some music after seeing all the sights? In the afternoon we offer you the possibility to participate in a classical music concert (not included).

DAY 6 - TUESDAY / VIENNA - HALLSTATT - SALZBURG

Breakfast at the hotel and early departure because today we will visit a real highlight. We head west and will see one of the most beautiful areas of Austria, called Salkammergut, a region famous for its mountains and lakes. Especially the village of Hallstatt is such an incredibly spectacular place that even the Chinese have created a copy of the ancient salt mining village. But only in the original will you discover this truly unique culture with so much history in a breathtaking mountain setting. In the afternoon, the journey continues to Salzburg. Overnight stay.

DAY 7 - WEDNESDAY / SALZBURG

Panoramic tour that will show you the most interesting sights of Salzburg. We start in front of the Mirabell Palace, built by Archbishop WolDietrich for his wife and children. Today the palace houses the city’s town hall. We continue along Schwarzstrasse passing the Mozarteum (music university) and the Puppet Theater. Further on we will see the city theater and Mozart’s residence on the market square. Here we will also admire the Holy Trinity Church. Crossing the Salzach River on our way to Hellbrunn Palace we pass the courthouse. Here we will make a short stop, this building built at the beginning of the 17th century by the court architect Santiago Solari became popular as it was used by the archbishops for weekend excursions. Returning to the city center, we will pass the Frohnburg Palace and Nonnberg Abbey, the oldest monastery for nuns in German-speaking countries, reaching the center through the Neutor tunnel. Before ending the tour at Mozart Square, we will see the Festivalhaus (home of the Salzburg Festival), the horse pond and St. Basil’s Church. Afternoon at leisure and overnight.

DAY 8 - THURSDAY / SALZBURG - SWAROWSKI - INNSBRUCK

Breakfast and transfer to Innsbruck with a stop at the Swarowski Crystal World. The multimedia artist André Heller created a unique place of fantasy, which to this day has provided visitors from all over the world with moments of wonder. DAY 9 - FRIDAY / INNSBRUCK

Breakfast and city tour of Innsbruck. The capital of Tyrol, residence of the Habsburgs in the Middle Ages, was also twice the venue of the Winter Olympics. Our visit will take us through the Triumphal Arch to the old town with its medieval houses with the famous Golden Roof, the Court Church, where the tomb of Emperor Maximilian I is surrounded by the famous giant black copper statues, and the Hofburg Palace. The city tour ends at the Innsbruck Congress Palace, where a special experience awaits us. Today we approach the Alps, or rather, the Nordkette mountain range. First we take the funicular up to the Hungerburg, 860 m above sea level. The view is already dazzling, but it gets even better. Immediately after, we take the cable car up to Seegrube, our second stop at 1,905 meters above sea level. There we will have to acclimatize for the first time and enjoy a well-deserved lunch, which is included. Once we have regained our strength, we will take another cable car up to Hafelekar, the summit or, as the locals say: the TOP of Innbruck. At no less than 2,256 meters above sea level, a breathtaking view awaits us from the lookout point. Innsbruck is at our feet and we have to capture this moment with a photo. In the afternoon, we return to our hotel. If you still have energy left in the evening, you can attend a typical dance show (optional).

DAY 10 - SATURDAY / INNSBRUCK - LICHTENSTEIN - ZURICH

Breakfast at the hotel. Today we head towards Switzerland, but before leaving the Swiss Alpine republic we make a detour to the principality of Liechtenstein. Liechtenstein is located in the middle of the European Alpine arc, between Switzerland and Austria, and is the sixth smallest country in the world. The Principality of Liechtenstein combines everything the heart desires: an impressive mountain world, a lively culture, charming villages and business opportunities. In the afternoon continuation to Zurich. Overnight in Zurich.

DAY 11 - SUNDAY / ZURICH

Breakfast and visit of the city, in which the historic center with the cathedral, the old town hall and the St. Martin’s Gate stand out. We continue through the commercial and financial center, the Bahnhofstrasse, the Fraumünster Church, the Limmatquai and the University district. Then we will discover the world of chocolate by visiting the Lindt Chocolate House. We will learn about the extensive history of chocolate and have a splendid chocolate tasting.

DAY 12 - MONDAY / ZURICH

Zurich

Breakfast and transfer to the airport.
