DAY 1 - THURSDAY / VIENNA

Vienna

You will arrive at Vienna airport, and our driver will take you to your centrally located hotel. In the evening, you will meet your travel companions at a typical Austrian welcome dinner at the Marchfelderhof restaurant, well-known beyond the country’s borders. In this truly unique atmosphere, you will quickly feel as if Empress Sissi is sitting beside you at the table. Of course, drinks are also included

DAY 2 - FRIDAY / VIENNA

Vienna

After a hearty breakfast, we will take a panoramic tour of the city, which offers a very good impression of Vienna’s many sights. We will visit the gardens of the historic Belvedere Palace, the former summer palace of Prince Eugene of Savoy. Enjoy the magnificent view of the city, immortalized by the artist Giovanni Antonio Canal in his paintings of Vienna. Continue along the Ringstrasse with its magnificent buildings such as the State Opera House, the Museum of Art History and Natural History, the Maria Theresa Monument, the Austrian Parliament, the Vienna City Hall, the National Theater and the Hofburg, seat of our Federal President. We will stroll through the small, idyllic streets of Vienna’s historic center and visit the interior of St. Stephen’s Cathedral, the largest in the city. We will also pass by the Anchor Clock and the Jewish quarter. The tour ends in the center at the Maria-Theresien-Platz. After the panoramic tour, you have the option to join a visit to Schoenbrunn Palace (not included). Fancy some music after seeing all the sights? In the afternoon we offer you the possibility to participate in a classical music concert (not included).

DAY 3 - SATURDAY / VIENNA

Vienna

After breakfast at your booked hotel, you will have the day at leisure. If after your impressions of the capital you feel more attracted by nature, we recommend that you take part in our excursion to the famous Danube Valley, located about 80 kilometers from Vienna and home to one of the most beautiful stretches of the Danube (not included). Would you like to surprise your loved ones at home with an authentic souvenir? Our tip: the Wachau region is famous for its apricot cultivation and the products made from apricots, from chocolate and liqueur to brandy.

DAY 4 - SUNDAY / VIENNA - BUDAPEST

Budapest

After breakfast, we will continue our journey to Hungary. Enjoy the ride in our luxury coach, which will take us to the capital Budapest, often referred to as the “Pearl of the Danube”, at lunchtime. In the afternoon we will take a city tour. Budapest is divided into two parts: “Buda”, where the historical center, embassies and high society residences are located, and “Pest”, where most of the hotels and stores are located. Don’t forget to prepare your camera. On the first day we will visit Pest and the Heroes’ Square, where the Millennium Monument is located. On its pedestal stand the statues of the seven conquerors and their leader Árpád. The tour continues along Andrassy Street, declared a World Heritage Site. Here you will find the most important building on the boulevard, the Hungarian State Opera, designed by Miklós Ybl, the House of Terror Museum, the Hungarian University of Fine Arts and the Franz Liszt Memorial Museum. Did you know that the second oldest subway in Europe passes through here? Its elegant stations are popular with locals and foreigners alike. We will also visit the Hungarian Parliament building, an iconic monument on the banks of the Danube, seat of the legislative power and guardian of the Hungarian Holy Crown. Before continuing on to the market and pedestrian area, we will see one of the most beautiful buildings in the city: St. Stephen’s Basilica.

DAY 5 - MONDAY / BUDAPEST

Budapest

After breakfast at the hotel, we will stroll together through the “Buda” castle quarter, where two other highlights of the city are located: the Matthias Church and the Fisherman’s Bastion. Here you will find probably the most beautiful view of the city, so you can’t miss a panoramic photo for your photo album. Afterwards we will continue to the Royal Palace and take a look at the various bridges connecting the two parts of the city. After the visit, you will have some free time. If you also want to focus on the typical culinary delights of the country, order “goulash” – you won’t regret it!

DÍA 6 - MARTES / BUDAPEST - BRATISLAVA - PRAGA

Budapest

After breakfast, we will continue our journey and transfer to Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic, with a brief stopover in the Slovakian capital, Bratislava, where you can enjoy some free time. Once in Prague, we will take you on an unforgettable sightseeing tour of the historical center of the city. We will show you the most beautiful monuments of the city and get to know the oldest parts of Prague. Did you know? Prague is home to some of the best beers in the world. With one brewery for every 10,000 inhabitants, the city has the highest density of breweries in the world.
